Dun hatch stirs up the fish

With the much warmer weather of late, water levels in the streams has fallen noticebaly and water temperatures have risen accordingly. This has caused an uptick in insect behaviour and hatches have been more prevalent. There was a lively dun hatch last night which brought many good sized trout to the surface.

Cormorants are still plentiful and many fish caught over recent weeks show battle scars. Dropper set up still the way to go at present when searching for fish, however carry a variety of flashbacks and duns for the serious action. END.
